Using the "dry" red pad #3 by itself won't scratch the paint?

For some reason, I can't comprehend this, a dry foam pad not creating micro marring/scratches, and am very apprehensive to use in lieu of the instructional video!
Can someone Please explain!

Thanks,

Thanks,
when you use the red pad you are polishing the Chadwick's film off the surface, in doing so making the clear coat more perfect !!!! call Neil and he will answer all your questions !!!http://chadwickstripleplay.com/

Never used their products, but from the results, and the way it is applied, it seems to be like a fine cut rubbing compound.
Years ago, I used a fine cut rubbing compound on my pickup, and the results were the same as what I am seeing in this thread, which causes me to ask is the Chadwicks product a rubbing compound?

Bob.

Has anyone ever used this stuff on a silver car? Looks good, but I'm struggling to justify the price.

I also would be curious to know how heavy or fine the cut is. The term "paint correction" implies it has some level of abrasiveness to it, but I doubt its anything as course as a compound, as the use of a finer cut would be required after using the heavy stuff...it's probably more like a finishing polish in terms of abrasiveness, but I'd like to find out for sure...to the OP, your car turned out beautifully!

it's not a detail spray it's cleaner, polisher ,and paint protector thus the name Triple Play !!! when I got my 99 I clay barred it and two weeks later a friend told me about Chadwick'. I told him I didn't think my car could look any better, but I would try it, I was shocked at the difference, and the more you use it the better it looks. Later Neil came up with the Paint Correction and wanted me to be a beta tester, again I was blown away, incredible difference !!!! Pictures do not do justice, you should see it in person, not sure I have seen any silver car shine more ???

I'm also curious to find out of it actually removes the fine scratches and swirl marks, or if it just fills them. A lot of today's products are nothing more than fillers, which eventually disappears and you're left with the same imperfections in the clear coat...I would rather use something that eliminates them...

It's physically impossible to remove scratches without removing any of the clear coat...

If it doesn't take clear coat off - it must be filling the scratches?

The guy without a Corvette yet makes a good point here.
