Update: Installed the first production kit on Saturday to take pictures for the install guide. A few minor quirks were found that required some changes to make it easier for the average Joe, but overall everything went rather smoothly.

Among the changes are a different washer thickness combination on the lifting arm mechanism. The new assembly is now rock solid and turns like it's on bearings.

The shrouds have also arrived and have a bit of a rough finish. I'm going to smooth out some of the imperfections prior to shipment.

I anticipate the first kits will be going out Thursday and remaining kits on Friday.

Test shots from the first installation:

Can't wait until they arrive! Then again, the wife doesn't know about them yet so there may be a long period of silence in my future.

Lol!

George, do you sell non-switchback LED's for the front signals? Looking to try going back to original colors when I do this upgrade and thought I'd order them while I can. Will check in tonight.

Update: It looks like Hurricane Harvey has postponed the ship-date. To make up for this, I will be pre-assembling all of the headlight kits for my GP customers. I will ship out as soon as the UPS stores in my area open again.

Keep 'em dry, George, and best of luck to you in the flooding to come.

Shipping services are still on hold due to Harvey. I'm going to go ahead and print shipping labels. Those of you with UPS will get automatic updates on your shipment when the trucks start running again.

Also I've finished the installation guide. You can download it here:

I guess Harvey hasn't flooded you out. Thank goodness for that. Thanks for the updates and be safe.

Instruction no 9 seems to drift off in an incomplete sentence. Is there more text that you intended to include?

Looking forward to feedback from average joe's and some more pictures, especially during the day to see the fit and finish better.

I would suggest that step 2 needs to be done before step 1, or at least before rotating the headlight up.

Under the Final Assembly you have "Attach the #8 1/8” spacer with mounting tap ". You forgot the e at the end of tape. I know...petty.

I cant wait to get mine!! The wait has been killing me!!!!!

Thank god I paid for these before my car went under the knife. I've got a new Monster clutch going in (to include the hydraulic kit from Tick, ie bleeder, slave, master etc), a trans being rebuilt by Tick Performance, along with the torque tube bearings, diff seal, rear main seal, all getting replaced. Fingers crossed is done by next week; dropped it off last Monday.

Then I can install these headlights and it'll be like a brand new car! Well...minus the CF front lip i cracked when dropping off the car. Ugh.

Still though, thank you for all your hard work and persistence and thank goodness you're not heavily affected by the storm.

I got a UPS tracking number today, but it is hard to use. I assume that it is from George but UPS tells me only that a label has been printed, but not where. George, if it's not too much, could you please post when UPS has picked up the GP items for delivery?

Based on my past experience with UPS, a shipping label notifies UPS that a package is ready to be picked up.
Once the package is picked up and scanned, the status will update.
Once the package reaches it's origin facility and is scanned, an update will post a scheduled delivery date, and you can begin tracking it's progress.

I apparently missed the boat on these, but I'm able to still purchase them on your website. Are you taking orders for a second batch or no? I might have to wait a couple weeks to purchase.

Montgomery, Texas, where George is located, is not far from Houston. I'm guessing that he got 20+ inches of rain, so here's hoping that he, his home and his family are OK.
