Hey, George.

I've been sitting on my kit from the GP last year. Not intentionally, just busy and then had the car stored for the winter.

I read back through here. Are there new shrouds available, and a steel lifting arm? How do I go about picking those up?

Also a question, since I have yet to look at the install guide. With this kit, does it do anything to firm up the headlight assembly, or should I look into that as a separate project as someone else on the forum here has done? Right now, mine do the dance when I go over bumps - especially so with firm coilovers.

Shoot me an email for new shrouds and lifting arms.

There's not much that can be done about that "bounce" simply because of the flip-up design and the heavier weight of the projectors forward of the lifting arm hinge point.

Working through some logistics issues with Hella. Apparently the had a HUGE inventory computer issue that almost shut them down for a couple of months. I'm also working with revisions to the shroud texture using actone vapor to smooth out the entire thing. I should have more information (and pictures) next week. Likely there will be another pre-sale in July for a second production.

Anyone who has installed these have any tricks they used to get the newer bracket on - it's extremely tight and I dont want to be hammering it on.

Trying to source the parts hotrod3 suggested in his thread to address the headlight jiggle - will post up results when and if I can find all the parts needed.

Waiting on revised/improved shrouds.
Will these be a swap or considered as an upgrade?

Default Radioflyer HID and LED angel eyes head lights and DRL.

Installed my new HID and LED angel eyes head lights and Sweeping DRL. These lighting upgrades are outrageous. They give the vette an updated look in every way not to mention the lighting is super bright. Mr. Arge of radio flyer inc. helped me almost immediately whenever I had a situation that needed to be solved. These lights are well worth the money and I'm so happy I pulled the trigger on this upgrade. Next I will upgrade the rear lights to LED'S. I will take pictures and post them as soon as I put the transmission gasket on, maybe tomorrow. Overall I love these lights so cool! I can help anyone with the installation process as I now consider my self a pro!

After I installed my radio flyer lights I noticed the shakiness when driving it was awful. The way I fixed this issue was that I manually raised the lights up as far as they would go and then I lightly pushed down on the top of the lid and it felt really firm. I then separated the lights from I side the car and guess what? Yes they worked flawlessly no more shake! I also ensured that all the blots were tight and in place.

George,

Sent you an email for status of the new shrouds without pre-drilled holes.

Apologies to those with outstanding orders. We've been having sourcing issues with the Hella projectors. However all current orders should be completed and shipped out today.

I will be running another GP on these and ordering projectors in bulk.

Default Headlight Upgrade

Below are couple of pics on my driver side install. Definitely gives the C5 a modern look.I still need to install the shroud but wanted to ask what black paint was for anyone who did this upgrade or did you give it to a paint shop. I didnt see anyone who painted them to match the car color, so i will stick with black to match stock color. Any recommendation on what paint will be appreciated

Also, I want to say thank you George for answering questions quickly and for a great product
