First the the seat recliner handle needs to be removed... There is a slot in the back side of it.. use a light and you'll see a "c" clip holding it on.. with a small flat head screw driver...push on each side and the handle will be released... It's trick but not hard...Once done... remove the front screw and side screw hidden by the handle.
The pry strraight out.. there is a 1/4" shaft with a barrel clip on it... it is press fitted into a hole in the frame.
