Default SLP GTR axle back

SLP made an axle back called the GTR. It consisted of a small muffler mounted in the forward part of the U so to speak instead of where the factory muffler is mounted and the "exhaust tip" is a one piece, cast AL unit that follows the bottom contour of the bumper.
Can anyone here give any insight on this unit? Do not know how long out of production but I have always liked the look of it. The company has been sold, new owners have no info and the original group who now markets exhausts for "classics" was no help either.
Thanks for any info
Chas

I have it on my 2000 C5. I bought it used here on the forum some time back. It's coupled with my full Kooks exhaust system and a bunch of other mods. It actually turned out quieter than I expected because the exhaust tip provides a second "H-pipe/crossover" which cancels out some more sound than just one. That actually left me a little disappointed, but I still love it.

*Note, when I have it laid out on the ground, the mufflers are reversed. The mufflers mount at the rear of the car, and actually touch and have melted my rear bumper a bit, but it's not noticeable. I also had my tip sanded and finish painted to (black) to match my black wheels/halo/windows motif.

I never heard it called the GTR, when I purchased mine in 2011 it was called Powerflo, at one time you could buy just the tip. The only issue I don't like is the exhaust condensation that gets burned onto the polished portion of the tip, constantly having to polish it off, and what was mentioned about the muffler location being too close to the rear fascia, the overall assembly fitment was perfect.

The '04 has LG street pro headers, X-pipe and high flow cats. Honker intake and a street tune. Bought the car with a TI axle back. Traded the TI for this SLP unit, only cost was shipping the TI. Shifting through the gears, the exhaust really talks now. Just did not know much about this system. Always liked the look.
Thanks for the replies.

i had an SLP exhaust on my 1987 Trans Am back when I was in the military. I have always loved SLP products and their "sound" engineering in working with GM Performance and Muscle cars.
