Default 04 CE coupe sequence number?

Is there a way to tell the sequence number of an 04 CE coupe, and of how many. I also have an 04 CE Z06. Number 1699 of 2025. Any help would be appreciated. I can provide VIN if needed.

The general production sequence numbers from the plant are well known, and there are a few guides online where you can determine the exact date your car was built just by your VIN (if you don't have the original or reproduction build sheet). However I believe that for specific editions like the 50th Anniv., '04 Commemorative, and similar, it's not broken down in that manner.

You would probably want to check with the 50th Anniv. Registry.

As you have the Coupe, remove the 3 storage panels in the back of the car, flip them over so you can see the underside of the panel and see if the paper placard is still attached, if so you will see your sequence number on those placards.

Maybe we need a registry for us CE Coupe owners.

I did find the sequence number under one of the rear panels, as you suggested. Thanks

However this is not what I am looking for. I guess I did not ask the correct question. Out of approximately 2215 CE coupes I am trying to find out what number this car is of the 2215. Such as my Z06 is number 1699 of 2025. I do not know if these were counted in this manner.

It is my understanding that only the Z06 cars had build numbers as they had a limited build of 2025 cars. The Coupe and Vert versions were not limited so no build number.

The coupes and verts were low production as well.
Check out the figures on Lemans blue. (only available on Commemorative Editions in 2004)

There used to be a registry for the CE but, it only kept track of the Z06/CE. That site is no long up.

Try this link. You will need your last six digits of your VIN.

Thanks for all reply's

Looks like, as Ron said, since the coupes and verts were not a limited number they do not have a build number. That is the info I was looking for. The original owner carried it to Lingenfelter when it only had 1,000 miles on it and had the supercharger, trans, rear end, and exhaust done.

Sounds like you have a very CE with the Lingenfelter package.

I had the same question, and just found my number as well. Doesn't seem like there's any way to tell the sequence number in terms of CEs. It would be really cool to know, though.
