I didn't think I would like that when I read your description but I do...looks good

Thanks guys, they have a permanent raised rubber sticker that you applied with glue but I didn't know if I would like the letters or not so I went with the temporary sticker.

Pretty cool. Not totally sure about the yellow, but I'm definitely a fan of the old school white lettering. We used to do them on LeSabers when I worked at Buick. You said they're temporary, how temporary are we talking? Just wondering if they're washable or if they'll come right off.

From what I've seen of other's experience and what I read on the websites, the permanent ones are good for a few years. I would like to think that they are constantly improving the product. We have a guy with them who comes to our car show every year, and the have aged, to the point that now I would recommend removing them.
Looking at Mistrezz' installation, I would think he has a leg up on what I've seen in person.

Looks great. They're nice when they're subtle - the yellow is a little less in your face than white. I'm doing the same thing on some track only tires - but with a yellow ink pen.

Thankfully, it's not a thing around here...yet. I did see a 4 door Accord with about 3" white letters and an erector set wing the other day. Very tasteful.

It comes down on how you take care of them, you can wash around them but not scrub them. I just clean the tire but worked around the letters.

I guess that when they started to look bad I'll just pill them off, time will tell.

I really miss the white letters of yesteryear. Had them pretty much on everything I owned back when they were available. If you say they are temporary I may just have to give them a try. Didn't know they had the temporary ones. I like the yellow with your car, looks good. Thanks for posting your results. A buddy of mine has a new plum crazy challenger and has the yellow letters on some blacked out CCW's. I think it looks awesome on it.

I tried a white paint pen on some small letters for evaluation.

Mistrezz, I saw a LOT of them at last nite's Bear Mountain cruise, I'm going to go further with this, but probably the paint pen route. I saw what looks like the permanent (thicker) and temporary (thin) stickers and IMO the temp look better, and not added on.

Mine are temps but should last long enough if you take care of them. I will let you guys know as soon as I start seeing fading or separation from the tires.

Thanks again sir. ( by the way check the youtube videos on how to paint your tires with the paint pen)

Misrtezz, thanks for your help! Here's a pic of a car in your colors, but a different layout. There were lots of cars with lettering that nite.
