Default New tires mod

Well just finished putting these tires stickers on my month old Nittos NT555. Took me 2 hours and change, pain in the butt but worth it.

I didn't know if I would like them but I do. I went with half inch size to keep it nice and clean. That's the smallest size available.

Let me know your thoughts and yes I know is a matter of taste.

(Got them from Tire Stickers and you can get all kinds of stiles and sizes)

I'll admit I was scared to scroll down and look, but not bad!

I happen to like them. Kind of old school like the raised white lettering from years back on the Vettes.

Do they fit in the existing lettering on the tires? Can't tell from the pics??

You have to find an open space between the letters of the tire to make it easy. I had a couple of them that went over and but you have to worked the sticker to make it blend.

There is sanding and cleaning the tire with acetone to make good contact with the tires surface.

I can take closer pics if you are interested.

If you find the time a close up would be nice!

Thanks.

Here you go Jeff, if you look at the first pic you can see that the letters mold to the tires print. If you order bigger letter size that's the only way you can do it. A heat gun do the trick.

I've always liked lettered tires, and lamented their loss of popularity. I think yours look great! Seems like the material is thin, Which makes it easier to mold to the tire?
I like your size choice as well.

If you like it, that's what matters. Some people like it, some People hate it. I personally don't like it at all but that's the whole beauty of variety. Good job bro

I think it's growing on me. I would have went white but you are seeing more and more of that. I like that it is more of a unique look and makes your ride stand out.

Thanks for sharing. I wasn't aware this was a mod. I thought tires with stickers came that way from the factory. They look good on your car.
