lol told the wife I was ready for an upgrade, showed her pictures of a c6. $35k, think I can convince her a supercharger would be much less expensive than a new car, plus it's on SALE!!! And you know how girls are with a SALE PRICE!!!

Not big on burnouts, do like to hammer down getting on freeways. It's an automatic, man tells me there pretty bulletproof transmission, as long as I'm not drag racing hole shots it should be just fine.

My son put an A&A kit on my '00 coupe about 8 years ago when he owned it. A couple of years later he had CMS build his motor. A couple of years later a rebuilt trans and 3200 stall converter, he enjoyed the power and used up several sets of rear tires. One year later another A4 trans and then I got the car from him. I replaced the rear tires and they are still like new. I don't do burnouts but I do enjoy the burst of power on the on ramps!

Put that kit on my car 8 years ago. Still working great today. My car is an manual but other than that the same setup. Don't do burnouts in mine either, doesn't mean the tires don't break loose. On ramps are fun for me too. Expect the rear to pitch out on you. That's a bit fun. As you will see, it will be a start to doing more mods after (add more boost)

Good tires aren't for doing burnouts, they're for getting traction. It's definitely wise to run better tires with that much power, or you could end up like a lot of the other folks that have posted here with their boosted car wrapped around a tree.

also what rear do you have? 273s suck, you're gonna want to upgrade that to 342s and a stall would be nice ......but you could always wait until trans goes boom and upgrade all at once.
The power and acceleration is addicting.
good luck

I would not worry about trees its the transmission that is going to take a beating.

it will fit but some of the bigger blowers you might have to cut some of the hood structure from the bottom side for clearance and if you get a really big blower you might need a hood but the standard kits that a&a sells you are good and if they are installing it you will have no issues, they are a great group of guys

Maybe I'm just out of touch with the whole blower scene, but $7K seems high to me. How much is the blower itself? And installation doesn't seem like it would be that difficult or time consuming to do. $7K seems like a lot for a 150-200 hp increase, then again, 500RWHP would make for one bad *** C5!
