A good story
Back in Ft Lauderdale I joined a new open car club, no dues, no meetings. I heard from the guys about the boxes of trophies they had in the garage and attic. I thought about the Cub Scouts soap box derby. I had the guys bring me trophies and I found a scout pack that could only afford certificates for the winners and arranged to bring them to their monthly meeting. With the trunk and front seat piled high, I drove up to the door. They brought me on stage and presented me with a certificate, a little boy grabbed me around the leg. We let the last winners pick a trophy. Maybe your club can do the same.
