So far, so good for me. Bought a 2000 base coupe last year, m6, f45, all the goodies that apparently sometimes fail. It only had 45,000 km (<30,000 miles), I've put another almost 6,000 km on it so far, and it hasn't burped, farted, or given me any reason for concern, electronic or otherwise. I know there are things that could happen, but hey, they sky could fall too. LoL. I only paid 21,000 CDN (15 or 16,000 USD), so there's room in the budget if something does go wrong, though I have no reason to suspect it will. Now I did spend a few dollars to have the paint professionally buffed out, changed all the fluids, agm battery, and any maintenance stuff I could think of. But I feel pretty confident that this car is going to treat me ok.
