I was driving the only day at around 65 MPH. Then I looked at my speedometer and heads up display that registered 140 mph on both. I thought I had somehow flaked out and didn't realize I had floored it. Several cars passed me and I realized there was some sort of malfunction with the speedometer and heads up display. Anybody else had this issue?

I have this issue right now where the speedometer changes readings while driving. Not sure if my issue is the same as yours but in case it is...
My cluster is going out and while driving it will change from MPH to KPH constantly sometimes switching real fast. If you are having the same problem than just watch the cluster and make sure the reading is MPH in the top center of the gauge and not flipping back and forth.
If it is staying in MPH and not switching back and forth, than you might have option 2 that I had a while back possibly. My speedometer would read right then the gauge would pop up to a higher reading then it would come back down. Turned out my ignition switch contacts were dirty and causing strange things in the cluster. After the contacts were cleaned no more issues.

I have had some fun cluster issues.
I noticed that all readings had in fact switch to metric, engine temp, tire pressure, odometer and so on. I did not make any settings changes at all. Will check out manual to see if I can adjust them back. Some days it is in MPH other days KPH and I don't know why.
I pushed the E/M button on accident the other day. It's weird seeing that needle jump up so quickly when you accelerate. I thought I had yet another thing broken, until I noticed my odometer was reading in kilometers. haha
