Ebay....new fully functioning aftermarket keyfob is around $7 shipped. And then you can program it yourself.
As for the key, you need a multimeter to measure the resistance (ohms) on the chip portion of your existing key. That resistance will correspond to a "VATS" number (most ebay listings have the VATS chart to look it up). Then buy a blank key for $9 shipped on ebay (make sure to get a key with the VATS # that corresponds to your existing key) and have it cut at the Chevy dealer.

I took my eBay-bought key to Lowes and they cut it for free. BTW, the C5 can have three FOBs programmed, which I have. I also have an extra key ( no FOB) I keep inside the car in case of a worn key VATs problem.
