Turn signal help

So I'm getting the fast blink so I went to change my turn signal bulb. I bought the bulb that looked like the correct one after searching the forum. Got under the car and it was a very different bulb. I have an 02Z and here are some pics of the bulb. Is this something that the previous owner rigged up or did I get the wrong bulb. The bulb I got is a big amber bulb.

That's not the turn signal, side marker light. The bulb should be bigger and amber. Turn signal socket is in the bottom of the housing.

Thanks for pointing out im a dumbass. I found the right bulb about 2 seconds after you guys said I was in the wrong spot.

While you're at it, might want to check the housing for heat damage and consider swapping to leds.

Hey man, stuff happens. I'd bet there are a number of us that have made a mistake like that in the past.
