FWIW Wiper issue
There is a large tray the width of the car sitting under the wipers and arms. Under the wiper motor located on the driver's side, there are 3 rubber drain tubes about 1 1/4 in diameter with slit drains on the lower end. Crud will fill these eventually and the slits will no longer drain. This allows water to accumulate in the above mentioned tray. The moisture will get into the wiper relay located on the motor and it will go bugs - -t. The wipers will either not work, only shut off by removing the fuse (#10 in the fuse box under the passenger kick panel) or they will twitch into an out of the park position anytime the key is on regardless of the wiper switch position. It is definitely hard to look cool with twitching wipers
Solution- replace the relay. Be sure to seal the new relay well onto the wiper motor. Clean the drain tubes (They will pull out easily from the top) and cut the drain slit a little wider to afford sure passage of water and other crud. Use a cover if parked outdoors (mine was). Relay was about $100. Car is a 2003 with 58K on it.
Hope this is helpful information.
