At this point I would roll the dice and take your chance at Carlisle.
The things that set this apart from the regular ones are
1) one owner
2) full documation and maint records.
Those are 2 huge pluses in my book.
Also that is a very easy fix if you have the painted wheels.
Google is your friend, or stop by any dealership, as many have men that stop by to fix the rash on their cars.
There are many that will be there cash in hand and looking for a certain color. Pics would be a bonus for us...post up ****.
list for 23k.
what everyone else is saying.. $22k is what i'd ask. Theres ALOT of these cars on the market right now. with corvettes, it seems like they are either very low mile babied cars like yours, or daily driven cars that are pretty beat up with several owners. a one owner low mile c5 is not RARE or the exception by any means, but it does add slightly to the value.....
I wanted to weigh in to see if any forum members have a moment to weigh in on suggesting a fair asking/selling price for my 2001 Z06. I realize I might be setting myself up for some lashings, but I hope there might be a few of you out there that can suggest a fair Forum asking/selling price. I might also take it to Corvettes at Carlisle in August if I don't sell it before then.
Here are the details:
2001 Millenium Yellow Z06
Black interior
No body side moldings
17,580 miles
No Mods, except for Corsa Indy Pace exhaust
Brand new tires 550 miles ago
Always garaged
2 covers
No fading in paint
All maintenance, including oil changes, completed by Tony's Corvette Shop in Maryland
Have all service and maintenance records
Only blemish is a slight bit of curb rash on front right wheel.
I appreciate your inputs in advance.
Thanks,
Scott
It will only sell for what someone is willing to pay...if you are not in a rush to give it away, you would be surprised on finding out that in the condition you say it is in with that low of mileage, that there are many potential buyers that would be thrilled to get it for $25,000...do not listen to the lowballer group...the book price means nothing...maybe to snowflakers though...hold out my friend...F everyone else
