All generations of Corvette have something that appeals to me visually. But these wanna be C1's have NEVER grown on me. As mentioned before, way out of proportions and just plain ugly imo.

Proportions are off, way off to my eye. So no, just no. Go out and get a C1 if that's what you like. Just appreciate the C5 for the great car it is No conversion required.
Pretty nicely done overall!! the rake of the windshield kills it....to be picky a little more rear window a +
still not bad, many out there a lot worse.
The windshield looks outta place. Looks like someone had some talent though from the pics.
It is just because we are so familiar with the rake of the C5 windshield that we expect to be looking at one! With time I would truly warm up to the C2 conversion!

It's not bad but the lines aren't as nice as the real thing. My 61:
The purists will cry foul, but I think it looks pretty good. Not sure I agree with the badges being on it though. It looks better as a convertible than an actual C5 does. The C3 was the last corvette that worked for me as a roadster. C2, even better.

The problem with that is that a C-1 is almost impossible for a large person (6' and above and over 200 lbs.) to enter or even drive. The steering wheels are huge and even small people must have the wheel almost between their legs. C-1s look cool, drive like a truck, are a pain to maintain, they are about as reliable as a Yugo for trips over a couple hundred miles..
