Bose CD players the same?
I just got a CD player from a friend and decided to open it up and add an aux plug for an mp3 player. The radio I did this too has a model#16257601 and is from a 98 Corvette. I have an 01 Corvette. I still have the original radio in it, and have not removed it. I noticed a friend replaced his from his 2002 and his radio has a model#09390211 and the connections on the rear of the radio appear different. Is there a difference between the two radios? and will the 98 work on the 01-04 Corvettes? Any one have this issue?

I swapped out a 99 w/cassette for an 04 w/CD and had no issues....can't tell whats going with that 98 the pic is kinda small

I've been looking at the two radios again. OK, the 98 radio has the same connection as the 01-04 on the right side. The left (where the antenna plugs in) is different but it appears to have the same amount of prongs. 9 and 4. The only difference I see, is that the 4 prong connection is to the side on the 98 and in the middle on the 01-04 making look like a pyramid versus a square (so to speak). Therefore, I think they are compatible, just the plugs have a difference design. Am I correct before I screw up a perfectly good radio? LOL.
