Default Horn help...?

So, for some reason, the horn assembly was missing on my 2004 when I bought it. While driving home I attempted to honk at a jacked-up truck who was about to change lanes right over me...and nothing.

When I got home, I inspected under the hood and could not see/find a horn assembly.

**As a reminder, I am completely new to the Corvette world, but not to Chevys.

I did find an empty plug up in the passenger side front area near the radiator/light area. I am guessing this is where the horn assembly would plug in?

I just bought a horn assembly...

-Wondering if someone could verify this location for me?

-Perhaps, provide a photo of where the horns are and mount?

-AND, I am in need of the wire connector that joins from the horn assembly to where it plugs into the main harness. Part #?

Thank you!

And the empty connector is probably for the ambient air temperature sensor. Any chance your HVAC control is reading a constant 69°? Or to dim to see?

I guess that could be that...there is no underhood light or wire.

Default Horn Relay!

Okay, so thank you all for your assistance!

I was able to actually see the horns front the front of the car with the hood open...reached in and felt they were there and plugged in.

Next, I made sure the alarm was set to lights and horn for both the alarm and arming. When I tested by pressing the horn on the steering wheel - nothing. When I tested with the alarm remote - nothing.

I took a twilight ride down to the local O'Reilly's and picked up a fuse relay part # R3115. Popped it in and the HORNS NOW WORK!

Alrighty then!

Thank you all for your help and inputs!

I am still curious as to what that empty plug is...I will snap a photo later and post it.

Thank again all!

That is it...
The previous owner has all kinds of engine dress-up stuff in the bay...must have removed the light.

Thanks for the pic. Now I know.
