Just buy tint film on Amazon or ebay and do it yourself with the existing lights. Much less expensive.

I picked up a set of side marker and tail lights already tinted (with film). I think they look fine, and I have the ability to remove the film if I wanted to. I've seen some painted (rattle can - Night Shades) that also looked great. As mentioned, there are less expensive ways to have tinted tails.

Thanks. I will most likey go with the tinted film for the factor that I can take it back off.

incoming flame for the ricer mod here.

I used an old can of niteshade i had laying around to do mine and they came out great. Never cleared them tho. They look stock but do collect dust like a ****, a layer or 2 of clear would probably help

Don't bother. They don't add much to looks, and greatly diminish the brightness. Been there, done that.

I can second this.

Years and years ago when the Niteshade product had just came out I used it on a few cars I had. The look itself was great but I also didn't clear it. The tails would collect dust like crazy. If you washed your car it could look fine three days later but the dust that would accumulate was immense.

Doing it again, I would probably get a quality set of covers or have it professionally painted. I can't comment on using any sort of tinted film to do it but I would think the sides of the lenses would be the largest hurdle.

a cheaper alternative is spray tint from a local auto parts store, we've used it on several cars, looks good, easy to do, can be made darker and if you dont like it, it fades over time. a good way to experiment with a sometimes expensive mod
