Default Prestone Power Steering Fluid
Is Prestone ok to do a fluid replacement or should I get GM Part No. 1052884 as per the Owners manual?

It would probably work just fine, but personally I would go with the GM fluid.

It will be fine.. I change all my car's ps fluid regularly. I use the
store brand ps fluid in the quart bottles..
GM's are good about using just regular ps fluid

If it meets the GM specs then I see no reason why you couldn't use the Prestone.

I'm using Amsoil synthetic fluid in mine.....
