Another Trunk question
We recently purchased our 2000 Vette and experienced trouble opening trunk. I've read the other posts and think I'm seeing something different. When I push button on both Fobs AND on dash, the system beeps and the Security warning flashes on Dash. Interestingly, waiting a random amount of time (seconds one, 3-4 minutes another) seemed to "correct" the problem. Any suggestions?

That was one thought we had but the button on the dashboard does the same thing. Is there a proximity sensor in the car that looks for the fob when dashboard controls are used? I tried putting fob on dash while pushing button with no luck?

Just one question... when you push the button can you hear any sound coming from the trunk. either the receiver is not getting the signal or the signal is not getting to the solenoid.
