Default Corvette Covers

OK Before I start, I do not have a garage, but I am looking for one. In the interim I need a cover that 1) will keep the WX off, 2) soft and not hurt the paint, 3) easy to store.

I have looked at a number of manufacturers and came up with http://www.carcoverusa.com/Coverking-Stormproof.html

This one looks like a good investment for a few weeks and then I can use it in the garage.

So what are your recommendations other than "GET A GARAGE"

I have a Stormproof for my corvette & a California Car Cover Weathershield for my Chevelle, the Weathershield is better quality but twice the cost I paid $185 for my SP & $320 for the WS, nice thing about both of these covers is that no dust gets past the fabric, my Chevelle has been covered for 5+ years and is dust free. When I want to clean the cover I just pull the car outside hose it down & blow it off. And easy to store when not in use, I have a plastic tote I put it in to keep it clean.

Over the years as cars come and go my poor ole 75 coupe periodically ends up spending some time outside. I have been through several covers. None will truly last more than a few seasons but I think the best one for outdoor protection and breathability is the NOAH cover. It really does well at keeping it dry, if a cover dosent breath the trapped moisture will cause corrosion and potential problems. There are also some products that will absorb moisture from the interior. It will keep it from getting too musty. Id use them too.

Here are some pictures of the stitching the 1st is the Weathershield & the 2nd is the Stormproof also I am not sure if this is still true but when my brother ordered his Weatheshield he was told not to use a dark colored cover on a light colored paint.
