Corvette Chrome Yellow

This may sound weird in this forum but I can't think of a better place to ask. I have a plane that was painted, in part, with this color. The builder insists that it is chrome yellow from the early 2000s model years. Does anyone know where I can get paint, touch up and larger sizes, for this color. Can't find it. Look to the 70's or maybe 80's. If I remember correctly, it has a little more orange than my 02 yellow. Closer to "school bus" but common back then.
