the switch isn't making the clicking noise, a relay is. Each door has a module in it that controls the doors functions (locks, windows). It could be your problem or the regulator.
Sometimes, just banging on the door panel (or slamming the door shut) will get you by to get the window up.

Check that module above and see if that is the problem.

If you search in the tech section there are a number of threads on troubleshooting Door Control Module problems as well as DIY repair of the modules, if that is the problem.
I see your a new member here so in the future you should post these type of questions in the tech section. Learn to use the search function. Often you can find threads that document the troubleshooting process and how to fix the problem. If not there is usually someone willing to help.
