Default 18/18 tire advice?!

Hey gang,

Im going 18x9.5 on front and 18x10.5 in rear. What size tires should I be looking at in order to not have any TC issues.

265x35x18?
295x35x18?

Thank you!!

265x35x18= 25.3" diameter
295x35x18= 26.1" diameter

keeping a 1/2 to 1" rake is needed for the TC to stay happy. Each tire manufacturer will have different dimensions for the same listed size (kind of like shoes). so if your buying from store measure them. if its online ask them to measure just to be sure. Many report a square set up not upsetting the TC, however I can neither confirm nor refute this.

Post some pics with the new setup. I'm wanting to go 18x10.5 for all corner, but don't want it to stick out from the front fenders

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this lol. So based on your calculation these sized tires SHOULD be ok? I will of course measure them as well. I will keep you posted! Thanks again

It should work stock sizes are front 245/45/17 @ 25.7" and rear is 275/40/18 @ 26.7". That gives a 1 inch larger diameter out back. Your current sizes will be about 3/4 inch larger in the rear. If you feel that's not enough difference (rake) the either a) 255 in the front or b) 305 in the rear.

Also the z models had a wider tire from the factory. All you need to do is Google tire size calculator. It will give you the diameter for whatever size you choose. As long as you're over 1/2 inch, you're good.

well, I ordered my 18's and absolutely do not like them at all I'm going to order new ones but go with an 18/19 setup after seeing it lately on some other cars.

If I go with...
265/35/18
295/35/19

Is this an ok setup? Should I be looking at different size options? I do not want any tire to stick out past the fender. Flush is ok.
