Default C5 license frame

Does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket license frame that fits? All the after market frames are 12" and on a C5 its 13". There is a gap all the way around the frame with the smaller one. Thanks.

Hmmm. I just ordered a new frame and didn't even think about the size. Thought it would fit perfectly. Now not so sure...

I bought one from autozone and took it back because there was a gap between the reverse lights. I also bought one online, a Supposedly GM one and there was a gap on that one too.

Thanks but,
I've seen those, I would like something with higher quality than plastic. That's why I need a different one, the plastic tabs broke off my original. I would pay that if it were carbon fiber and it fit right.

Not sure who you have checked with, but maybe some of the big vendors like Mid-America, Ecklers, West Coast Corvettes, etc. would have something.

Most Corvette owners don't like the one I have for my rear plate, but it fits tight, with no gaps, and I happen to like it.

Almost every aftermarket one will have gaps between the lights and the frame. I've never seen one not that way. I have the original one but painted it body color. I think it's the best option unless you can make one like pounder did. That chrome one is a decent choice also if chrome is one of your choices.

It's so crazy that anyone would pay $57 for a plastic frame but if you look at others, even our best forum vendors, that price is a steal.

Looked at some others that ranged from $70-90 new. You can find it on the auction site for $25.

I never even knew that this part existed, I just have the plate on there all naked. Now I want one of these too...

I'm gonna make my own, just haven't decided whether to cut around the bottom tabs, or sit over them.

I asked a State Cop in Mi., he said no issue with it, he said most times a plate is covered in snow or mud !!!!!! Been followed here in OK, not pulled over ??? I could always take off the tinted cover ???

I used weather strip around back up lights, didn't like the way it looked so took bulbs out (Oh No not legal !!)(have back up camera) Black Acrylic is cheap !!!!
