Beautiful. Absolutely one of my top 2 or 3 C5 exterior colors. When I went "C5 shopping" 3-4 years ago the AE initially was my top pick, 1st choice. I also was very interested in the dark navy blue (98-01) and the light pewter metallic (98-02?). As vain as it may seem to some on here, the exterior color to me was one of the most important decisions I'd have to make. For, I'd have to look at this thing for several years (I hope.), and I would HAVE to like what I'm looking at every day. lol 
I guess it finally came down to INTERIOR color options. Although the light shale interior of the AE looks fantastic, and is a nice contrast to the ext., AND I don't think any other interior color would "work" as nice as the shale (with the burgundy ext.) (I don't know if I'd even try.), I was a little apprehensive about the "keeping her clean inside" part (with the interior so light). My C5 was not necessarily gonna be a daily driver, but certainly not a garage queen either. In the end I decided a dark/black interior worked best (for me), so sadly no AE C5 for me. At least not yet. 
It was down to the navy blue or the pewter, which both offer black int. as options. Ultimately I found a nice navy blue (black int.) with some tasteful mods (CAI, exhaust, some cosmetic stuff), and an engine bay all chromed out. It's a nice car and I'm happy with it, but there's always that voice deep inside my subconscious that rises every time I see a magnificent, well kept AE...................................... .....
