My so called high performance rear spring from VPB failed after only a few years. So I went back to stock C5 rear spring. Car sits low and is already into the agrressive part of the spring. The car handles great with no body roll. I'm wondering if I should go to the Z06 spring or will that be too stiff. I also have a set of the Urethane spring bushings. What do people think the best combination should be for the street for best handling?
Stock with Urethane bushings
Z06 with rubber bushings
Z06 with Urethane Bushings

Depends on how aggressive you want it. I went from having the FE1 suspension and initially started with C6Z sway bars and performance in the corners improved, then went upgraded shocks from a C6Z and the ride became a little stiffer but nothing where you're breaking your teeth. Finally I installed C5Z springs with euro-bushings and never looked back! The car handles very well. I track mine often so I went this route. If you're primarily on the street you many not need the benefit of the euro-bushings. JMO
The C5Z spring with rubber bushings and c6Z shocks are a good street set up. One item you should check out, since your car is setting so low, is the shocks bottoming out on the bump stops? When I started autocrossing, I initially had my ride height and car balance set up by DJRace and he actually raised up mine because it was hitting the bump stops. Also, the car was about 1 second faster compared to my competition at the time. Since I have gone to different shocks and bars for more performance.
Thank you for your responses. I want the car to handle as aggressively as possible. It's my fun car and it is already very stiff. I have a C6 to go and get groceries. It doesn't bottom out and actually sits a little higher than the picture. What was happening was as the AM spring was failing the car continued to get lower. Once I put the stock spring back on it came up. I have Bilstein shocks and AM Panhard rods, VBP sway bars and all urethane bushings.
I guess the only concern for the street is that it is not completely level like the track, so I don't want the car to be so stiff that if you hit a bump the car breaks loose.

VBP Composite Sport Front Spring
C5Z06 Rear Spring
C6ZR1 front swaybar – 33mm
C6Z51 rear swaybar – 25.4mm
C6Z06 Shocks
I installed adjustable sway links so the car could be corner balanced.
Feels just about as planted as my former 944T race car which had coilovers, large adjustable sways, solid bushings, etc., considering the fact that the C5 is on Continentals and the T on Hoosiers. With Hoosiers the C5 would be a beast with this set up.
The ride is tight and you feel bumps but not jarring. Pretty amazing cars right out of the box.
you can hear the suspension squeak, everytime you hit a hole is like if your tires are running flat. I tried multiple tires from Goodyear run flat to Michelin Pilot Super Sport.

I found the Bilstein Shocks B8 Sport to be better than the GM Z06
