Default Emblems?

My nose and rear deck emblems on my white 2000 coupe that I bought a few months ago are disintegrating. Has anyone just deleted them and not replaced them? If you have replaced them where is the best place to get a quality part at a good price?

IMO the Corvette emblem is a keeper and the car looks strange without. It is some jewelry on a gorgeous body, lol. I would google e bay etc for replacements. PS you will be rewarded with some holes when emblems are removed. It will be far more costly to fill in than replace emblems!!!

I removed the rear emblem on mine. I think it looks cleaner. Was thinking of removing the front when I had the bumper painted, but changed my mind.

True for the front but the rear does not have pegs, it's just flat.
EBay is the place to get them but even there, they are not cheap. Big time Corvette tax on emblems

about the rear emblem having no holes to worry about.

Why not put up a wanted to buy post in the C5 Parts for Sale/Wanted section asking if anyone has some emblems for sale - sometimes new ones are offered up and you might get a decent price on them.

My car had a set of diecast and chrome emblems- and they were falling apart. I bought replacement OEM ones, and like them just fine. They ARE pretty expensive for plastic, though.

One of the forum vendors has stars and stripes insert replacement. Nice option.

Replaced both front and rear emblems with OEM emblems. IMO, the originals look the best but are a bit expensive. Have had them a couple years and still perfect. Sourced thru Amazon:
Genuine GM 19207384 Bumper Fascia Emblem, Front
Genuine GM 19207385 Compartment Lift Window Panel Emblem, Rear
