Greetings,


I am wondering if my 98 has run flats. There is much on the subject online. Am I looking for a symbol or any of these letters RFT, RSC, SSR, DSST or ZP ?

I am confused.

who is the tire manufacture. I got this list with a quick google search to show codes.


Bridgestone: RFT
Continental: SSR
Dunlop: DSST or DSST CTT or DSST RunOnFlat
Firestone: RFT
Goodyear: EMT or RunOnFlat
Kumho: XRP
Michelin: ZP
Pirelli: RFT
Yokohama: ZPS

Goodyear F1 come in run flats and non-run flats.
Like am3gross said, they'll say EMT on the side if they are run flats

in some of the advertising verbiage, match the acronym:

Zero Pressure = (ZP)
Extended Mobility Tire = (EMT)
And plain old
Run Flat Tire = (RFT)
