C5 Ignition Lock Replacement
I recently needed to replace the lock cylinder on my 2004 coupe. The vats pellet reader in the front part of the lock was worn and causing the lock to jam. Thanks to forum members the removal of e old lock was really easy. I purchased a new uncoded cylinder on Amazon. Thanks to YouTube, I was easily able to use the tumblers of my old lock and place them in the new lock cylinder. My local locksmith wanted $125 to rekey the new lock.Then reassembled and she started right up.
