My C5 has the leaking seal on the LH side differential. I already have it schedule for some mods at Tony's Corvette. They will address the seals while it's in for mods. No big deal. I'm worried I will damage it if I drive it 30 mins to the shop. I'm thinking worst case scenario here. Is it advisable to top off the diff fluid without draining completely or would I be alright?

I would get it up in the air and check it. If it's been leaking a long time it could be down significantly. Pull the fill plug and stick your finger in and curl it down. If you can't feel fluid, I would add until you can. Whatever type of rear diff fluid you have in there, you should use the same.
