Default leaking brake fluid

i am leaking brake fluid in the rear i thought it was the flex brake line but when i took the rear tire off and inspected the flex line its good the steel line that goes along the axle is really rusty when i step on the brake pedal i see fluid dripping from the center of the rear end i am not sure where to go from here i guess its the steel brake line but i can not see exactly where the line runs to.

the rear lines run above the diff and along the left side of the torque tube tunnel and frame rail up to your ECBM

You'r not going to find them at any dealer. GM lists the parts as Tubing, Steel, Bulk Roll.

Here is the part # listed at GM Parts Center

https://www.gmpartscenter.net/oem-pa...xoC_OIQAvD_BwE

You have to either buy the tubing, tubing bender and tubing flare kit and do it yourself or buy used from one of the forum vendors.
Side note: No Aftermarket lines are made or sold as far as I know.

Hmm if I was you I'd blow a call in to Marc at vettenuts.net. He's probably got a decent used one.

That was going to be my EXACT RECOMMENDATION!!

VETTENUTS

Call Marc. He has TONS of good used C5 Stuff and will be able to get you any of the C5 brake line that you need.

If it were me, I would inspect ALL of the ones on the rear cradle just to be sure that they are in good condition.
