I think I’m going to pull the trigger and pick up a CF Tounneau Cover. I’ve seen several C5s with them and I think they look great. A nice but not over the top enhancement. My question is about attaching. Vendor suggested panel adhesive. I thought 3M tape but then I may not get a smooth flush install. Any comments/tips on the panel adhesive for this type of application?? Thanks!

They are made by RKSport. Just google "RKSport C5 carbon fiber tonneau" and you will see plenty of sites that sell them. I think they used to be priced in the $300 range, but now they all seem to be $500.
It is not a replacement, it is a laminate that you lay on top of the existing tonneau cover. It is real carbon fiber and the RKSport piece fits really well according to old forum posts. Unfortunately, Photobucket sucks and none of the pictures posted by members of it installed are viewable anymore.
There is a site that sells a C5 carbon fiber tonneau for $349. I don't know if it is an RKSport piece or not. It could be since they used to retail for less than that, but it'd make me nervous not knowing for sure if it would have the same fit as the RKSport piece. The website is RPIcarparts, just google their name and C5 carbon fiber tonneau, I don't want to link to it because I'm not sure if they are a sponsor or not and don't want to break any rules.
