HVAC control replacement
Hi,
I have a 98 coupe with the base HVAC control unit in there. A few weeks back, while replacing my head unit, I accidentally ripped part of the decal from my hvac controls. I glued it back into place, but light still comes through the cracks at night when my lights are on. I was told that I need to get an entire unit, and that there is no replacement decal. My question is, since the base controls are so hard to find... is there any way I can put the dual climate control unit in its place? I know it wouldn’t be a direct swap out, just wondering how difficult it would be to do (if it is even possible).
