New Toy...

Greetings,

In March I sold my beloved '04 Z06. She had just a tick over 12k miles when I watched her drive away.

I loved the Z dearly, but always kicked myself for not driving it more. Fast forward to October, 2017:

2009 ZR1. 1 previous owner, 6200 miles after driving it home. What a car! Currently giving it a full refresh. I'll post a direct comparison of the two cars once I get some more seat time in the ZR1. First impression is... WOW. It's a pinch faster than the '04.

Interesting but ........ why bother if you don't drive it? Less than 1000 miles a year, I don't get it. Black car in the south? I guess it's better off in the garage?

Thanks, guys. I'll get some better pictures up this weekend when it's finished. Had some light swirls and water spots from sitting, but nothing a good polish and wax won't fix! Also needs a set of new splash guards for the front.

Not a fan of red Corvettes, and the only acceptable color for a C6 IMO is black, so you did OK in my book. Enjoy.
