The guy that did all the work on my car is in Rock Hill, SC. Taking the old lights off is the hardest part, the RF's go on pretty easy. They are a bit of a pain to aim, but the connections are pretty strait forward, and there is so much more room to work without the headlight motors and gears.
Sorry I didn't thank you sooner. Been a bit hectic of late. Rock Hill, huh. My neck of the woods. Might i inquire who specifically did your work? Is Vette work something he regularly does? Again, thanks for getting back to me and for any other advice you can share. Tom PS: Do you belong to any of the local Vette clubs? Queen City perhaps? Just curious.

Bryan Ferranti. He has a full shop, but that's not his full time job. He specializes in Supra's, he did a lot of work on my brother's car. His personal car is a street legal 2000 whp Supra. He's really meticulous which is why I used him for my car. I'm as finicky about the appearance of my engine as I am about it's function. I hate wires all over the place, mismatched clamps, etc... He's also very reasonable. The only down side is turn around time. Like I said, this isn't his full time gig, even though his shop is huge, which is another thing I like, all cars are parked inside.

Thanks so much for the info. Will definitely contact him. Turnaround time not that big a deal to me. I also have a '96 Mustang GT vert which is in great shape. Sure not the Vette, but can make do with just it for a while. Generations Corvette Club here. Thanks again.
VERY well done. There are elements of the car that are definitely not my style, but you've managed to build a very well integrated package that addresses many of the glaring issues with the C5 (namely the interior).
I'd love to see what it would look like with the HREs again. That being said, what an extremely well put together car.
Unfortunately the HRE's didn't clear the brakes, or I would have kept them. They have a reverse lip which caused a problem with the diameter, so spacers wouldn't have resolved it...

Wayne, my CCW's 19x10 fronts wouldn't clear C6Z calipers either so I ordered a new pair of 18x9.5's that would. My 19x10's have a 2" lip, my 18x9.5's have a 1" lip. CCW said a 19x10 with 1" lip wouldn't work on the front of a C5.

Those look great! Can I see a pic of them on the car? What size tires are you running?
Wayne did you make your sub woofer box? Can you get a better top picture of it? Trying to get some ideas for a sub box for mine. Thanks
I got it from Double D mods, one of the last things he did before he went rogue. I've since upgraded the system to 2 amps and dual corner subs, so the box and sub are available. PM me if you're interested.
Wayne, I'm amazed how closely our builds have independently paralleled. So many similarities, yet different. Your car is absolutely Bad Azz brother!
I guess it's like the old saying goes, "great minds think alike"!
What kind of work was required to fit the MSD Intake in the C5? I've read lower motor mounts are required and some cutting into the cowl firewall.
Contemplating adding this to my LS7,

I did replace the motor mounts, but I didn’t have to modify the cowl. It also needed LS2 fuel rails.
