Will I run into any problems on a C5?

My guess is that you won't have any problems, but I'm not 100%.

Maybe the C5 section would be a better place to ask.

I sold my original wheels to a C5 owner. He never had any issues with them.

Short and simple.....No, that is if you plan on buying 18/19's with a C5 offset. If you plan on using C6 18/19's then Yes, one small issue.

Only thing is, because of differences in offsets with the C6, the rear wheels will be tucked inside of the wheel wells and it won't look right. Most of use use adapters to push the rear wheel out to where it should be.

Several months ago I installed 07 C6 5 spokes on my car. Added a 20mm thick adapter to the rear. Looks good IMO.

These are the adapters

No problems, either. These are by Ruff with standard C5 offset.

The correct offset is important as is the proper tire sizes to maintain an acceptable stagger in overall diameter front to rear. In order for the TC/AH to work properly, you need to have between a .5" to 1.5" difference.

This is what I have now, I like the wheels but chrome and not having a garage don't mix in NJ. Now the hang up is what will look better w/ my color gunmetal or black, I think i'm leaning towards gunmetal.

No problems with my 18" 19" rims though they were made specially for the C5.

If you do pull the trigger on the gunmetal definitely post a pic. Would look sick with your paint scheme
