If you mean bolts to attach the calipers to the knuckles, it has been several years since I swapped to the C6 Z06 brakes but I believe I just used the same bolts that had attached the C5 calipers (they were fairly new from some earlier work). You do need to check that the bolts are not rusty and that the threads are good.
For new bolts check with forum vendors Corvette Central, Cultrag, VetteNuts, or you can go with RockAuto, or local sources like Napa, AutoZone, etc.
Best wishes with your project!
Surprised nobody has asked... are there ABS compatibility issues with these Cadillac calipers? Looking at the specs on the Wilwood calipers for the C5, they specifically mention their caliper cylinder volume is compatible with the C5 ABS controller and master cylinder.
The Cadillac calipers have larger piston bores so the volume is larger than the stock C5 or C6 calipers. This will result in slightly longer pedal travel, but the ABS should be able to handle it.
Clarifying this will help me for my next mod...'00 'Vert, base model. A years back I upgraded to C5 Z06 brakes, new calipers, rotors, braided brake lines, etc.
Just bought a set of C6 Z06 calipers having read on here a few times it was a rather simple swap. But I'm wondering now if I also need to change out the rotors?
Will my current rotors work or perhaps the better question, what is the minimum diameter rotor needed for these C6 Z06 calipers?
It can turn into an expensive project - C6Z powder-coated calipers, 2-piece rotors, new 19 + 18 wheels and tires - $4500 easily. I was told the factory C6Z front rotor weighs a ton so I bit the 2-piece bullet....
