I just went to a good car audio store in town and told them what I wanted.
GPS, backup camera. cd, bluetooth and usb. They showed me what they had and gave me prices.
I picked out a Pioneer unit and they modified my bezel and installed everything.
It took them a day and a half to do it and did a very good job.
Costs around $2000.
Lots of choices out there.
Modifying the bezel seems to be easy for a good shop. They had pictures of several vettes they had done.
So slight difference in color, gloss, and texture, but overall a very, very good result.

Yes, and configuration. No more ashtray door or cup holder door either. I think that is why DD has gotten out of that activity.
On my other car I went with the Pioneer AVIC 8201. This allowed for front and rear camera, apple, androild and the ability to have the unit auto-equalize the sound to your car with the optional mic. Can get the 4201 if you do not need navi and use the apple/android for navigation.

My point was to illustrate that there are others who go way beyond painting a bezel, and not to bash someone who treated me and thousands of others very well. There’s more to the story than what has been mentioned on this forum.
Sorry but there is really not. He full on tried to screw me over but atleast my bank worked with me.
I spoke to him on the phone for 2 hours one day (was my second order with him) Said he would have the stuff to me in a week or 2. 2 months later he was telling me Kenwood only shipped things at the end of the month and even though 2 months had ended he said it would be the end of next month. And the only reason he replied to me was b/c started doing return receipt. I also had his cell number and called him and he wouldnt respond. So I sent him a text and magically I get an email back 2 minutes later.
Sorry he jumped the ship and something happened. But he had decided he was going to screw over every customer he could on the way out.
