I had to have an electronic module replaced on my 03 ZO6 that sends A/C to both sides of the cockpit (@ 61K miles). No one would fix it except the Chevy Dealer. $900 and change. Cheap part with lots of labor. So, if your A/C just starts blowing cold air out one side and hot air out the other, you'll know the problem and cost. I was told it is a semi-common problem on high-end GM cars and trucks from that era.
Blend door actuator. Nothing to do with “high-end” anything, just GM things
Thanks, funny thing is I had the same problem with the fuel gauge on my 2007
After making good sending units for over a half century, GM seems to have forgotten how to design a good one for the Corvettes. Blaming poor fuel with high Sulphur content is...... If that's the case, my 1995 Grand Cherokee would've had similar issues. In 350,000 miles, it never had any gas gauge problems. Never had any gas gauge problems with any vehicle I've ever owned, EXCEPT the C5. Then, from 1997 until late 2002, no valvespring issues with any C5. Then, GM tries to save 50 cents per car (!!) by changing the valve spring design, or vendor!!! Is it any wonder they filed bankruptcy?! I love my C5, but GM could've done things MUCH better, for sure.......

Could also have been a low 134a level. Happens every time on climate controlled HVAC vehicles. My Buick did it, and my C5 has done it. When low on refrigeration, one side will blow colder than the other. $900.00 to replace a blend door??!!! WOW-That's why we call them the "Stealer"!!

That was the price for the part and labor from the dealer. Have you had this problem resolved in the past? What did you pay? Then maybe, your one of those whiz-bang do-it-yourself guys and did it yourself? I'm not.
