Default slave cylinder dead

Hi guys looking for advice, my slave cylinder is toast looking for suggestions. Car is a 2001 with ~68K miles pretty much stock except for long tubes. I assume while its opened up it makes sense to do the master and the clutch. any recommendations? do you most folks just do the LS7 kit?

thanks

GD

I have no specific recommendations, as your use and modifications have a great deal to do with your clutch choices. I only can comment on the only clutch I've bought since stock, a dual disc RPS carbon. It's brutal with a Tick MC, and like a light switch, but it does hold 643 RW without a whimper. No chatter at all.

LS7 clutch and flywheel is a great option and is what I went with. I also changed out the stock master cylinder for the Tick Adjustible MS. Also, definitely get a remote bleeder while you are at it.

You can adjust the Tick MS to have the perfect disengagement of the clutch so you aren't putting excess stress on the slave cylinder. It also has a much shorter travel of the clutch pedal so you can shift faster. Also, the stock MS has been know to cause the clutch pedal to stick to the floor when shifting at RPM's above 5000. I figured since I am spending the money on a clutch kit, slave cylinder, remote bleeder, etc. I might as well go the rest of the way.
