Default Rubber foam lip

Has anyone had an experience with Corvette Mods rubber foam lip kit?
If so do you have pics?

That actually looks pretty good to me. Ties the front of the car together nicely

They look nice static, but they yield at speed. Around 70mph they bend back and flap in the wind.

70mph?

I thought corvettes were designed to back out of the garage, wash and wax, then pull back into the garage? When do you get up to 70 in that scenario?

I'm amazed vendors sell these "lips" for $40-$60 for what is effectively garage door seal with double sided body tape; that's where they got the idea from over a decade ago when the import crowd started sticking garage door seals under the front of their car(s) [personal experience...].

Yes, at speed they will yield a bit and begin to flap inwards. The other thing is if for whatever reason you happen to contact the forward most point of the fascia it's going to rip it down and you'll likely have to pull the whole thing off.

I'd save the dollars for a proper splitter.

You can get the same thing at home depot for $8.99. Frost King garage door seal....lol

Youre better off with a $60 Lip they sell on ebay, at least that is an actual front lip.

I do, however, do effectively that in the winter myself

I have been in big rally groups and seen these things flappin' in the wind in person.

I don't see anything in the description that indicates any real strength or structure to this. It looks good in the photos, but if it's that flexible, how will it look after a few trips on the Interstate?

Wow, they actually sell this junk on a corvette website??? You will get it cheaper from a home improvement store or eBay...
I agree with above, import crowd thing over a decade ago, cheap civics mostly in my area.....

Spend your money on a real splitter/lip....
