Default Good Puddle/Ghost lights

Does anyone have a source for Quality Puddle lights. I bought a set off Ebay in July of 2016 for $17.00. They looked great at first and I was totally pleased but now a year and a half later they look horrible. They have lost all there sharpness, contrast, and color. See this pics below. I have no issue paying more for something that will last.

Day one Looks great:

Now looks terrible:

if you can forego the corvette logo, these work great, mine are still going from 2010.

order x4 from ebay.

Agreeing with JDM, if you can forget the logo, you can get great amounts of light from flexible led strips. I had the logo style on my Z06 and after lasting a couple of months and being very ineffective, I put led strips on the underside of the door using the wiring where I had drilled a hole for the logos. On my current coupe, I put the wire thru the rubber grommet under the door. These strips are 19” long and provide real puddle function visible as soon as dusk approaches.

I did the same with my doors. 5730 LED strip along pretty much the entire bottom length of the door.

I just went outside to take some pics since Photobucket **** the bed.

The ones I posted above fit neatly inside the rubber grommets that are already in the door and put out great lighting.

jdmvette - nice job on the install. Those look like they would have come from the factory.

This is likely the route I will end up taking as I have found multiple places that offer the ones with the corvette logo but they look just like what I have now even though the price can vary from $20-$50. I got a fealing some people just have a lot more markup on them.

I'm not stating the following because I want to be critical, but AFAIK, the led panels like those in the pix might be a little challenged when it comes to moisture. However, I've never found that area to be wet...ever, and I do drive in the rain. That's why I chose to use waterproof LED strips. Again, not trying to be a smartass, just another possibility.
