Default Never Raced

  • Never abused or driven aggressively
  • Anything above 4000rpm is scary
  • Disabling the traction control and active handling is dangerous
  • These cars will get away from you stock so fast
  • 350hp is more than I'll ever need

Sounds fun. At least this should keep it out of the rain...

Can you post your wheel and tire specs please?
Thank you!
Those are flared rear fenders too, right?
And is the rear end mini-tubbed or anything?

I LOVE how your car looks. I may have do something similar for next year.

His car, don't know about the house. Drove a 706 horse power Mustang and that is NOT too much power....j u s t right.

P.S. and I hate Mustangs...

Love the look of the wide fenders and big tires. Forget those tiny rubber band tires for hard parking, big tires look like they mean business and can do some work!

What are your measurements to the top of the wheel arches? Do you hit the bump stops regularly? Still on the leaf springs or coilovers? What shocks? Looks similar to my pewter '00 FRC that I'll be dropping in the Spring....

Nice setup, love the simplicity and attention to detail in pictures. What is your suspension setup?

That looks beefy, wow.

I agree on the power/weight. My money has been spent on brakes/suspension. I may run out of power eventually, but I can't really use the 380ish I have on the street now.

It’s love/hate. Decided I need to start enjoying it more and just build it vs not wanting to drive it and devalue it for the ‘next guy’. I’m currently in love with this setup /look

I raced a bathtub in SCCA racing in the 70s. 140 bhp and 1500 lb. I thought that was fast! The C5 beats that and is driver and passenger friendly, too.

Can you please share your wheel and tire specs? Or if you have shared them in the past via a build thread (looked, could not find); can you point me towards them? Thank you very much!

They’re a 16” CCW drag pack. It has 28 10.5 Hoosiers out back with a 5/5.25 16” Firestone deluxe bias plys up front.
