Looks great! Since it is not some crazy color or chrome, I think most will think it is paint, looks like it to me. Is the stripe a Corvette stripe set you purchased separately and they applied on top of the base wrap?
Thanks, I designed the stripe, an idea I got from the C6 GS, the shop cut the stripe in graphite metallic. The vinyl thickness is solid color so shows no edges.
I realize I’m in the minority here .It looks great now but I wonder how that will holdup and look over time . Most c5 Vettes still have a shiny beautiful paint after 15+ years . Fine gravel dust hot sun and pollution have got to be hard on vinyl after a couple years . Look at any older car with vinyl graphics . It fades and gets scratched then you can’t touch it up if it gets nicked .Personally I’d rather pay 5 grand for a lasting base coat clear coat paint job then pay out half that for something not nearly as durable and will likely hurt the value of the car or potentially damage paint under it .

Thanks for you concerns, todays vinyl is very durable, if a door gets dinged you peal it off and re-apply anew piece. the paint is protected will not damage it, vinyl is like paint the better you take care of it the longer it will last. go on you-tube an get educated on vinyl wraps.
Looks like they did an excellent job, Gary! That color really does pop, especially with those subtle stripes. An economical way to change the color of your ride and preserve the original paint at the same time - sounds like a win-win to me.
How about a pic or 2 with the top down so we can see that oak interior, too!
Thanks Mike, I forgot to mention in my first post that Brett & Dave are pros with vinyl, They have wrapped million dollar motor coaches, ski boats, motorcycles and even a few shot guns a few more pics
As I said in an earlier post, I like it!
My 03 vert is Spiral Gray Metallic and I would love to have the stripe you have. I've never cared much for stripes but that on yours is so subtle I think it would look good on my car.
I may try to find a shop and see what can be done with just the stripes.
Probably won't do it because of seams but I am going to check it out.
After owning my 01 pewter vert for 5.5 years it was time for a make over.
I've always liked the dark gray so I picked charcoal metallic and graphite stripes. The shop did a great job vinyl wrapping the vette. The process took three days, they wrapped the door jams as well as the water fall.
Not every ones taste, but i like it.
By just those pics alone if you told me you had it painted I wouldnt have even questioned it. It looks real nice.
