After owning my 01 pewter vert for 5.5 years it was time for a make over.
I've always liked the dark gray so I picked charcoal metallic and graphite stripes. The shop did a great job vinyl wrapping the vette. The process took three days, they wrapped the door jams as well as the water fall.
Not every ones taste, but i like it.
Looks like they did a good clean job but I would never do this . I always considered this a ricer mod that kids do because they couldn’t afford a real paint job
That's about the dumbest thing I've ever read. A wrap has so many benefits over a complete paint job, and looks phenomenal when done correctly.

For everyone downing this, it actually costs about the same as a quality paint job with none of the issues you can experience with OP, runs, inclusions, overspray, etc. My C7 is about 3/4 wrapped in clear wrap since it's my dd and the clear wrap protects the finish from the constant sand and gravel that pummels it on my commute. My 100k mile Mini looks new due to the same treatment after 5 years of commuting the same route.
Plus, when you're ready for a change, the wrap just peels off leaving your original finish intact. It should last 5-10 years depending on the type/brand used.
Nice job. I would love to hear the costs because I see people always saying its as much as a quality paint job. A claim I scoff at because in my city the good shops here will wrap a vette with 3M wrap for less than 3 grand.

Not around here, paint is at LEAST 3 times the cost as a wrap. Wrap is about $1K to $3K where paint is $9K and up to $20K+.
OP, your car looks great though the front emblem looks out of place, I would have left it off. Still, 9.5 out of 10

Thanks, I was quoted 5k -7k to paint a different color, the wrap was $1,900.

I think it looks great, especially given that they did the jambs. I've always thought that wrapping is the most cost-effective way to keep your ride interesting; if you don't like it, do it again. Paint, not so much.
If you want to see some really wild wraps, take a look at the YouTube channel StreetSpeed717. He's done some pretty original stuff with his Vettes.
