yes, have used it in the past. changed over to starbright star tron enzyme fuel treatment about 5 yrs ago tho. It is more of a complete fuel treatment. I have a ski boat, outboard engine, and a bunch o' power equipment/lawn mowers that i use, so i always put some in, run the engine a bit to circulate, and then go through the winterization (depending on which thing i'm working on). My old outbaoard mechanic who had about 50 yrs experience steered me away from the stabil (he didn't like it) and put me on the star tron. that being said, this topic is probably like a "which is the best oil" question But yes, i think its a good idea is she's going to be sitting for a while with the same gas!!
I've used it on motorcycles. It's a good idea to use if you're parking it for more than a few months. Luckily, I drive my C5 year round. No salt or snow on the roads here.

So did I. But any treatment is better than none at all for extended periods of storage, in my opinion..

I store my car from around December 1st until the middle of March or so and always put a bottle of Sta-Bil in the tank when filling the tank for storage.

You use a whole bottle? .....It says 1 ounce for every 2.5 gallons of gas, so for 18 gallons of gas that would be 7.2 ounces of StaBil....right? .
I have been using Staybil in engines for over 20 yrs. Living in central North Dakota I use it in my ice auger, boat, snowmobile, weed eater, lawn tractor, pressure washer, leaf blower, motorcycle, snowblower and of course the corvette. Weather it's summer or winter something is always being stored.
Never use it. I have three cars that I store for 5 - 6 months every year...never an issue.
I fill the tank and park my Vette and Grand Prix for about 4 months each winter. No fuel treatment. About once a month I trickle charge each battery. When the salt is washed off the roads in the Spring....they fire right up. Been doing this for many years.
I think advertising has most people worried about not spending all their money.
