Coverking makes some good outdoor covers. The Stormproof cover is not bad, but not cheap (price wise) either.

Cheapest that will cover it. It's a cover.

I had one of those $25.00 covers from Advance Auto made of "impregnated" (not by me) paper covers. It lasted outdoors through 6 years of New Jersey winters. It was getting u-g-l-y so I replaced it with another. Still going strong.

Did the cover scratch or make marks on the paint?

Yup, good choice if you need slight ding/dent protection

Stormproof is my choice for my personal cars. It's a light cover,
and does not offer much in the way of ding/dent protection, but it
is also great for an indoor cover and does a fantastic job on dust an
pollen.

Absolutely untrue. If the material is not soft on the inside, it will end up leaving swirl marks/small scratches in the paint etc. as the wind blows it around.

That being said, I'm a huge advocate of higher price does not necessarily mean higher quality, and vice versa, so read reviews of covers on Amazon and the forums to choose the best one for the money.

None that I could see. The important thing is to keep the inside of the cover clean and that means only putting it on a clean car. It's the dirt that scratches the car not the cover (unless it's dirty).

Bear in mind my car was a daily commuter of 120miles/day. Paint care is wishful thinking with those miles. I'm more worried about parts falling from 18 wheelers than swirl scratches.

I just got a California car cover called Noah. It’s real soft and fits like a glove. I’ll try to remember to take a pic.

Thank you. Do they make custom covers? I just purchased a 2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature Limited with 23.7k miles, one owner, garage kept. My Vette sits in my one bay garage, so I need a very good cover for outside.

I have very good cover (forget the name right now, but I think it's Covercraft I'll look after I have my coffee) that I used in when I lived in NYS. It's the extreme model made for winters. My car sat outside in the winters up there. Soft inside so it doesn't scratch, fitted to C5 including pockets for the side mirrors.

I don't need it any longer as we moved to Florida and the car is garaged now. If you're interested in a slightly used cover shoot me an email and we can talk. 03bluecoupe@gmail.com

OK, I stand corrected. I'll pm you with a question. I *think* I bought it from you guys, but that's been a while and I could be having brain fart issues.

Yes, PM me your exact model/year and I can look it up for you
(sorry I don't know the different options for a Lincoln)

If it was up to me I would have used forum vendor. My wife bought mine for Christmas but it said Noah on the packing slip.
